Ocean has spent 10 years exploring the interaction between mind, body and psyche. More specifically she is fascinated by the role of play, movement, and curiosity in shaping our lived experiences, whether through our felt-sense or the stories we tell. Her philosophy is rooted in the belief that “all is movement” and that all learning happens through the body in relationship with the world; and so long as we keep moving, movement is always possible. She holds a BSc in Psychology, with a specialisation in play in child development. She is trained in the Non-Linear Movement Method®, a body based-movement modality designed to increase sensory awareness and release habitual tension patterns. She also dabbles in researching psychotherapeutic techniques, nervous system regulation, and philosophy and practising acting, improv, yoga and relational practices. She's driven by the purpose of expanding her means of self-expression and in turn giving others permission to unfold theirs.
