Sound Makers
Julie Osburne Let's use our voices through singing, not to sound pretty but to feel the vibration in our bodies and among each other. With guidance, we will be playing with how to manipulate sound in our bodies to more fully feel and express ourselves, and the space we take up. Bio: Julie Osburne is a mental health therapist whose former career was as a performing and teaching musician. Some of her students helped her realize how powerful the voice can be when we let go of trying to sound "good" and instead see it as a pure expression of ourselves. Julie has been passionate about supporting others in exploring their voices this way ever since. |
